Restoring Patients’ Right to Heal

The ACHEM Freedom Initiative is a collaborative effort to restore and protect the civil and medical rights of cannabis patients. We are developing a comprehensive set of resources and services to support patients and their legal teams.

In AFI’s first year, our goal is to:

Compile a library of letters, data, and other resources to support the legal defense of patients with various medical conditions

Train ACHEM experts to write letters and provide testimony and other services in medical cannabis legal cases

Strengthen collaboration between healthcare and legal professionals for a unified defense strategy

Special thanks to our partners, the National Association of Black Cannabis Lawyers (NABCL) and The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation, for their participation and unwavering support. Together, we can create a more just and equitable society for all cannabis patients.

We appreciate your help in this effort to assist patients. Your generous contribution will make a significant impact in the lives of those unjustly persecuted for their medical choices.
